Quick take
Floating soft plastic worm that moves naturally in the current or when rigged on a jig.
This is a 7.5-inch straight-tail plastic worm in the Red Shad color, sold as a pack of 18. It is a classic soft plastic for bass anglers who like rigging a long worm Texas-style or on a wacky hook. The spear-point tail and long body give a slow, natural wiggle on the fall and along the bottom.
Best for
- Traditional bass worm rigging with jig heads or texas rigs
- Dragging on the bottom or suspended in current
- Natural forage imitation where baitfish match the red shad profile
Skip if
- You need sinking plastics for deep presentations
- You prefer worms with paddle or ribbon tails
Strengths
- Proven Culprit formula and quality for consistent results
- Floating design adds subtle movement in current
- 18-pack provides quantity for several fishing trips
Trade-offs

About this type
A lure is an artificial bait that draws a strike with its shape, color and movement.
Each kind is built for certain depths and ways of fishing.
Weight decides how far a lure casts and what rod and line it needs; color changes how visible it is in the water.
