Quick take
A large round baitcasting reel with baitrunner clutch for carp fishing and controlled live-bait presentations.
This Daiwa Black Widow is a size 4000 freespool reel built around a Baitrunner clutch, which lets a fish take line freely while the rod sits in a holder. It has a 4.6:1 gear ratio, an aluminum body and handle, and five bearings, with up to 18 pounds of maximum drag. Carp and bait-fishing anglers who leave rods out on the bank will find the clutch setup a natural fit.
