Quick take
A 170mm squid jig from Daiwa's Emeraldas line, designed for squid and cuttlefish fishing in saltwater.
This black Daiwa Emeraldas tool is a folding squid-dispatch blade at about 170 mm, built for finishing a catch at the side of the boat or dock. Its handle carries a planer that straightens eging jigs which have bent or stretched out of shape, and a gaff-style hook helps keep hands clean when bagging or photographing a squid. A carabiner makes it easy to clip on between trips.

About this type
A lure is an artificial bait that draws a strike with its shape, color and movement.
Each kind is built for certain depths and ways of fishing.
Weight decides how far a lure casts and what rod and line it needs; color changes how visible it is in the water.
