Quick take

High-speed 8.1:1 left-hand baitcaster with Magforce braking and aluminum CT frame for fast line recovery.

The Daiwa Fuego CT is a low-profile baitcasting reel with an aluminum CT frame, Air Rotation spool and Magforce braking. This left-hand version has an 8.1:1 gear ratio, picking up about 33.9 inches of line per handle turn, so it handles fast retrieves for freshwater techniques. At 7.2 ounces with 13.2 pounds of maximum drag, it suits anglers moving up to baitcasting for bass-style lures.

Best for

Fast-moving presentations like burnt baits and quick pitching
