Quick take
8-strand round braided line with high capacity for spinning and baitcasting reels.
Daiwa's J-Braid X8 in 0.35 mm is an eight-strand round braid on a 1500 m spool, a diameter that suits spinning and baitcasting reels. It is rated at 79 lb, and its smooth run through the guides makes it a fit for saltwater fish such as halibut and cod as well as perch and zander. Made in Japan, it suits anglers who want one large spool to cover several techniques.
