Quick take
Low-profile line counter reel built for deep trolling, with 11 lb drag and mechanical counter tracking trolling depth.
The Daiwa Lexa LC100HL is a compact left-hand line counter baitcaster in the 100 size, built for trolling walleye and kokanee. It has an aluminum frame, side plate and spool, a 6.3:1 gear ratio, and a carbon drag topping out at 11 lb. The counter lets you repeat the exact line length that found fish, and it spools 14 lb mono out to 120 yards or 30 lb braid out to 140 yards.
Best for
- Walleye trolling in the Great Lakes and Pacific Northwest
- Kokanee fishing where precise depth control is essential
- Charter boat operations requiring repeatable trolling patterns
Skip if
- You fish shallow water or cast frequently
- You need a high-speed retrieve reel
Strengths
- Mechanical line counter tracks exact trolling pattern depth
- Low-profile design fits comfortably on trolling rods
- 11 lb drag handles walleye and kokanee in freshwater
