Quick take
An 8.5-foot ultralight casting rod from Daiwa for small stream fishing.
This Daiwa Liberty Club Short Swing is a 2.7 meter casting rod that breaks into four pieces and packs down to about 31 inches. It suits anglers fishing from piers and jetties with bottom rigs or sabiki rigs who want a rod that travels easily. The fast action and medium-heavy power make it a straightforward pick for heavier shore casting.
