Quick take
Compact metal lure case with 12 compartments and one-touch lock for organizing and storing small tackle items.
This Daiwa Multi Case 205MJ in smoke is a slim 8.1 x 5.7 x 1.1 inch box with 12 compartments for small lures, hooks and terminal tackle. The dividers can be rearranged, so you can set up the layout for the gear you carry. A one-touch lock opens and closes it easily, and at about 6.1 ounces it slips into a tackle bag or jacket pocket.
Best for
- Organizing lures, triggers, and small components
- Portable case for wading trips
- Compact storage in tackle bags
Skip if
- You need larger compartments for big lures
- You fish many different categories; separate cases work better
Strengths
- Metal construction is durable and waterproof
- One-touch lock is faster than latches or zippers
- Smoke finish is neutral and does not show dirt
Trade-offs
- Small footprint limits compartment size
- Metal can rust if not dried after use
- 12 compartments are small; fine tackle only
