Quick take
A modular system tool bag with 3 compartments and water-repellent PVC, designed for tackle storage and boat use.
The Daiwa MW-2 is a compact system bag for sorting small tackle, with three compartments and a clear black lid so you can see what is inside. It measures about 11.4 by 7.5 by 5.5 inches, has a flexible top handle, and rests on a rust-resistant stainless steel frame. The PVC body is water repellent, and the closet-style design lets it stack with other bags in the line.
Best for
- Tackle storage for boat fishing
- Organized compartment system for rigs and tools
- Saltwater anglers needing water-resistant storage
Skip if
- You prefer hard plastic boxes
- You need waterproof; water-repellent is not enough
Strengths
- Water-repellent PVC withstands spray and wet conditions
- 3 compartments let you organize by tackle type
- Flexible construction stacks easily on boat decks
Trade-offs
- PVC is not fully waterproof; heavy submersion will leak
- Stainless steel frame adds weight; not ideal for hiking
- Design is smaller than large tackle boxes for extensive collections

- Water
- Freshwater
- Saltwater
