Quick take

A mid-size PVC fly wallet with water-stop zipper and clear dividers for organizing and protecting flies.

The Daiwa Presso Wallet in ML(C) Black is a zippered PVC case for carrying lures flat. It measures roughly 5.5 x 7.9 x 1.6 inches and weighs 8.5 ounces, so it slips into a bag or vest. An inside water stop zipper and a clear divider keep lures from snagging each other, and the PVC wipes clean after a day on the water.

Best for

  • Day trips where only essential flies are needed
  • Wading anglers who want a compact fly case
  • Trout fishing with a focused set of patterns

Skip if

  • You carry many fly boxes for different seasons
  • You need compartments for nymphs, dries, and streamers separately

Strengths

  • PVC material is waterproof and easy to rinse clean
  • Water-stop zipper keeps flies dry even if immersed
  • Clear dividers let you see all flies without opening

Trade-offs

  • Mid-size holds fewer flies than larger boxes
  • No labeled compartments; organization is up to you
  • PVC is rigid and takes up more pack space than soft cases
