Quick take
An ultra-light spincast reel with 4.11 gear ratio, designed for panfish, crappie and light freshwater fishing.
The Daiwa Underspin-XD in size 40 is a trigger-control closed-face reel with a 4.1:1 gear ratio and an aluminum build. It pairs the easy casting of a spincast with a spinning-style setup, and the handle can be set up for either hand. A good fit for beginners and for anyone rigging up a light freshwater outfit.
