Quick take
A pre-tied catfish rig with oversized 2.7 inch float and rotating rattles to attract catfish in lakes, rivers, and ponds.
This ready-to-fish catfish kit comes with six pre-tied Santee-style rigs, each built around a 7/0 circle hook and a 2.7-inch float. A rotating rattle with a double-bead design adds noise and vibration to draw catfish in dark or murky water. The float slides on stoppers, so you can set the bait near the surface, mid-depth or on the bottom. It suits bank, lake, river and pond fishing for anglers who want rigs tied and ready.
Best for
- Bank and shore fishing for catfish with bait
- Targeting active catfish at night when rattles draw strikes
- Beginners who want ready-to-fish catfish setup
Skip if
- You fish tight cover; large float and rattle spook easily
- You catch-and-release; circle hooks reduce hook-up rates
Strengths
- Pre-tied saves rigging time and knot tying
- Rotating rattles and double rattle beads stimulate catfish activity
- Adjustable bobber stoppers let you fish any depth
Trade-offs
- Large float reduces sensitivity to light bites
