Quick take
Slender 3/32 oz nail weights with ridged anchoring for inserting into soft plastic baits like Senko-style worms.
These Dobyns nail weights come 15 to a pack in a 3/32 oz size, and each slim metal nail has ridges that grip the soft plastic once pushed in. They suit Texas, wacky and Neko rigs, where a small insert weight lets a worm sink faster without a heavy bullet weight on the line. Anglers who want to fine-tune a presentation can add or swap nails to change how the bait falls.
Best for
- Wacky rigging stick baits and finesse worms
- Neko rigging presentations around docks and shallow structure
- Anglers using Senko-style soft plastics
Skip if
- You fish primarily hard lures
- You need heavy weights for deep presentations
Strengths
- Slender shape doesn't impede soft bait action or swimming motion
- Ridged design anchors securely once inserted
- 3/32 oz suits shallow presentations and light line
Trade-offs
- Small weight means limited casting distance on heavy line
- Ridged design can damage delicate soft plastic baits if forced
- Metal construction requires careful handling to avoid line damage
