Quick take
Pre-built drop shot rigs with fluorocarbon line and weedless hooks ready to fish.
This is a pack of eight drop shot rigs that come already tied, so you can skip the knots and start fishing. Each pairs a 2/0 hook with a 1/4 oz tungsten weight on fluorocarbon line with a swivel. It suits bass anglers who want a ready-to-fish setup for working a bait just off the bottom.
Best for
- Learning drop shot technique without tying
- Finicky bass in clear to moderately stained water
- Suspended presentations over structure
Skip if
- You prefer tying your own rigs
- You need traditional J-hook drop shots
Strengths
- Hand-tied with strong Palomar knots
- Weedless design prevents hang-ups on bottom
- Fluorocarbon line is more invisible than mono
Trade-offs
- Pre-made limiting to one hook size and weight
- Weedless design reduces hook sharpness slightly
