Quick take
A large assortment of soft rubber beads in multiple sizes and colors, including glow variants, for protecting line knots under heavy sinkers.
These are round soft rubber rig beads in the 10mm size, 120 to a pack, with a divided box for carrying them. Set one on the line above a heavy sinker and it cushions the knot at the swivel. Some colors glow after a few minutes in the light, and carp anglers can use them for rigs or as a small bait accent.
Best for
- Carp rigs with heavy sinkers where line protection is critical
- Building your own rigs with multiple size and color options
- Rig building where you need hundreds of beads for consistency
Skip if
- You use pre-made rigs and don't build terminal tackle
- You fish only with light weight rigs that don't need bead protection
Strengths
- Soft rubber acts as a shock absorber, protecting line knots from sinker impact
- Glow-in-dark variants work in night fishing or murky water conditions
Trade-offs
- Large quantity means spending time sorting and organizing
- Soft rubber can degrade under UV exposure and high temperatures
- Glow-in-dark feature only works after sunlight exposure and loses luminescence after 30-60 minutes
Fishing fit
- Water
- Freshwater
- Saltwater
- Techniques
- Live bait
- Bottom fishing
