Quick take
3X strong forged treble hooks in size #2 with precision-sharpened 3-sided points for lure replacement and repairs.
Best for
- Replacing worn hooks on crankbaits, jerkbaits, and spoons
- DIY lure building and custom lure repair
- Anglers who break hooks frequently or fish rocky areas
Skip if
- You fish soft plastics; treble hooks suit hard baits
- You practice catch-and-release; trebles hook deeper than J-hooks
Strengths
- 3X strong forged construction resists bending on hard strikes and rocky structure
- 3-sided point geometry penetrates fast and stays sharp longer than conventional hooks
- Size #2 is versatile for small crankbaits through larger swimbaits
Trade-offs
- Black nickel finish fades to bright metal after freshwater use
- Trebles foul easily in weeds and wood; use sparingly in heavy cover
- 3-sided points are sharper initially but dull faster than conventional points under repeated strikes
Fishing fit
- Water
- Freshwater
- Saltwater
