Quick take
Thirty weedless wacky hooks across three sizes with thin wire guards for skipping under docks and through cover.
The Dovesun 1/0 weedless wacky hook comes in a pack of 30 with a thin wire weed guard for fishing around weeds, fallen trees and rocks. Its high-carbon steel body has a needle point and a wide gap, and its non-slip pattern design holds a soft plastic worm in place as it swings. It suits Ne-ko, wacky, no sinker and drop shot rigs for bass, trout and walleye.
Best for
- Rigging soft plastic worms at the middle on wacky rigs
- Fishing dense weed mats and submerged timber
- Finesse bass fishing where traditional rigs snag
Skip if
- You mostly fish open water and sand flats
- You prefer weighted drop-shot or jig heads
Strengths
- Thin wire weed guard doesn't weaken the hook point
- Non-slip pattern on the shank holds soft plastics securely
- Three sizes in one pack cover different worm and fish sizes
Trade-offs
- Weed guard catches on some hard cover and rocks
- High-carbon steel rusts quickly if not stored dry
- Only comes in one color; no dark finishes for clear water
