Quick take

Heavy-duty wind-on swivels with brass bodies and nickel plating, rated for big game fishing.

Best for

  • Tuna and shark on heavy braided line
  • Offshore and saltwater trolling
  • Rigs needing high strength and corrosion resistance

Skip if

  • You fish freshwater or light saltwater
  • You prefer snap-swivel combinations

Strengths

  • Brass body and nickel plating resist corrosion in saltwater
  • Jointed construction and smooth rotation reduce line twist
  • Extreme breaking strength handles the largest game fish

Trade-offs

  • Overkill in strength for most freshwater and inshore fishing
  • Heavy brass construction adds weight to setup
  • Nikel plating can eventually wear through in harsh saltwater
