Quick take

A 200 meter PE braided line rated 15.4 lbs with 25-meter color changes for easy distance marking.

This Duel braided line comes as a 200-meter spool with four 25-meter colors, rated at 15 lb (7 kg) straight-line strength. Its yarn is bonded in resin, which gives it a smooth, monofilament-like feel and a quick sink rate for lure and jig work. The 1.0 size fits light-to-medium lure setups.

Best for

  • Ultralight spinning and casting
  • Freshwater panfish and trout
  • Anglers wanting high sensitivity

Skip if

  • You need heavy line for saltwater
  • You prefer monofilament's stretch

Strengths

  • PE braid has no stretch for direct feel
  • 15.4 lb rating handles most panfish
  • Color markers show casting distance

Trade-offs

  • Very thin at 1.0 size, prone to bite-off
  • PE braid requires special knots
  • Less forgiving on hooksets than mono

Fishing fit

Water
  • Freshwater
  • Saltwater
