Quick take
A 130mm topwater popper with a bullet head designed for saltwater bass and offshore species.
This 6.3-inch floating popper weighs about 2.8 ounces and carries a #2/0 hook, a bigger option in the Bullet Bull line for anglers after larger saltwater fish such as kingfish, tuna and GT. The Silhouette Black finish sits on a wire-through body with a magnetic weight-transfer system that moves a weight ball held in place by a magnet.
Best for
- Striped bass on coastal flats
- Offshore pelagic species in open water
- Early morning and evening topwater sessions
Skip if
- You need a subsurface or gliding action
- You fish freshwater venues
Strengths
- Bullet-shaped head creates loud pops and spray on the surface
- Power ring handles strong head shakes from large fish
- Saltwater construction with corrosion-resistant hardware
Trade-offs
- Popper requires active rod work; not a passive retrieve lure
- 1.8 oz can be difficult to cast on light line or in wind
- Topwater action limits effectiveness in heavy cover

About this type
A lure is an artificial bait that draws a strike with its shape, color and movement.
Each kind is built for certain depths and ways of fishing.
Weight decides how far a lure casts and what rod and line it needs; color changes how visible it is in the water.
