Quick take
A super-sensitive polyethylene fusion line designed for eging (squid fishing) in saltwater.
The Duel The ONE Aging in Half Ghost is a polyethylene line spooled at 150 meters, with a 0.4 millimeter diameter and a 7.2 lb line weight. Its half ghost finish suits anglers who want a line that blends into clear water. It fits anglers moving from light line to a heavier PE line for bottom and structure work.
Best for
- Squid fishing with egging rigs
- Anglers seeking sensitivity to light strikes
- Saltwater systems targeting squid
Skip if
- You fish freshwater or for other species; this is squid-specific
- You want maximum strength; eging lines prioritize sensitivity over power
Strengths
- Polyethylene fusion creates super-sensitive feel for squid strikes
- Thin diameter allows longer casts in open water
- Durable polyethylene material handles saltwater well
Trade-offs
- Optimized for eging only; not a general-purpose line
- Lower breaking strength than other saltwater lines of similar diameter
- Special material requires different knot considerations than mono

- Saltwater
- Skill level
- Intermediate
