Quick take

Gold-plated fish hook hat clips that attach to baseball caps, backpacks and clothing as a fishing-themed decoration or novelty accessory.

This is a pair of gold-colored fish hook pins from Eagle Claw, made to slide onto a cap brim. They are a decorative accessory rather than tackle, and also work as a tie clasp or on a pack. A small gift for an angler who likes to show it off.

Best for

  • Fishing-themed hat decoration for casual wear
  • Gift for fishing enthusiasts who appreciate novelty tackle accessories
  • Adding personality to hats or backpacks without actual fishing use

Skip if

  • You need functional fishing hooks for actual fishing
  • You prefer serious tackle-themed apparel over decorative novelties

Strengths

  • Unique fishing-themed design attracts attention and conversation
  • Gold plating gives a polished appearance without sharp edges
  • Includes free deer decal to expand the gift appeal

Trade-offs

  • Strictly decorative with no fishing functionality
  • Small size limits appeal and visibility on hats
  • Gold plating may wear and dull with extended outdoor exposure
