Quick take

Lead-free alloy steel egg sinkers in a range of weights for bottom rigs and float fishing.

This pack holds twelve 10-gram egg sinkers in a silver alloy steel finish, a non-lead option for anglers who want a light, easy-to-add weight for their rigs. Each round sinker has a smooth center hole that lets line pass through, which makes it simple to slide onto a rig or swap lures. The bag is reusable, and the same line also comes in larger weights for heavier rigs.

Best for

  • Anglers avoiding lead for environmental or health reasons
  • Sliding sinker rigs that need to move freely along the line
  • Bottom fishing in both fresh and saltwater

Skip if

  • You need extremely precise weight accuracy
  • You fish waters where the glaze coating matters less than raw holding power

Strengths

  • Non-toxic alloy steel composition passes California Proposition 65 certification
  • Glaze surface is harder and smoother than lead, reducing snags
  • Smooth center hole minimizes damage to fishing line during use

Trade-offs

  • Alloy steel is slightly less dense than lead, requiring slightly heavier sinkers for the same depth
  • The glaze coating can scratch and wear with extended use
  • Weight range may not cover every situation a fisherman encounters
