Quick take
A 147-piece tackle kit with circle hooks, octopus hooks, baitholder hooks, bobbers, and weights.
This 147-piece kit pairs 3/0 circle hooks with 1/0 octopus hooks and size 1 baitholder hooks, along with bobbers and 2-gram sinkers. It suits anglers going after bass, catfish, trout and panfish, from first casts to a fuller tackle setup. The circle hooks' curved shape tends to bring the point to the corner of the mouth when a fish takes the bait.
Best for
- Beginners building their first tackle collection
- Live bait fishing for multiple species
- Various water types without a specialized kit
Skip if
- You fish only artificial lures
- You already have a well-stocked tackle box
Strengths
- Mix of hooks covers circle hook, octopus, and baitholder styles
- Bobbers included for float-rig presentations
- Weights provide options for different depth presentations
Trade-offs
