The RTD from Erupt Fishing is a small hand-powered threading tool that carries line through a rod's guides so you skip the fiddly work of feeding it by hand. The line attaches to a bobbin without a knot, and you push the device along the rod while it lines up with each guide. It suits casting, spinning and fly rods with standard guides, though it will not pass through micro guides. At about 3.4 ounces and 3.25 inches across, it is easy to keep in a tackle bag for re-spooling days.
