Quick take

A 55-liter tackle backpack with 6 removable trays, dual rod holders, and hands-free carrying for all-day fishing sessions.

This Coyote-colored Drift Series 3700 is a soft tackle backpack built around an open-access main compartment that holds six 3700 trays, with room for four 3600 trays up top. Six matching QuikLatch trays come with it, so you can sort lures and terminal tackle right away. A line spool feed in a side pocket, a plier holster and padded shoulder straps with a sternum strap suit anglers who walk to the bank or boat.

Best for

  • Wading and bank fishing where hands-free carry is essential
  • Anglers who switch between multiple rods and tackle configurations
  • Multi-day trips where large storage capacity is needed

Skip if

  • You fish primarily from a boat
  • You need a smaller, lighter storage solution

Strengths

  • Large 55-liter capacity holds significant tackle without the bulk of hard boxes
  • Removable QuikLatch trays let you customize storage and switch setups quickly
  • Padded shoulder straps and sternum strap distribute weight evenly for comfort

Trade-offs

  • Large backpack can feel heavy when fully loaded with 6 trays
  • Soft construction is more vulnerable to snags than hard boxes
  • Open-access design can make finding specific items slower than compartmentalized boxes
