Quick take

A portable 18 inch fly fishing net with soft rubber mesh for safe catch-and-release of trout and panfish.

This compact landing net pairs a soft rubber mesh with 0.2-inch openings and an aluminum alloy frame, with an EVA grip on a short handle. It runs about 18 inches overall and weighs roughly 0.19 kg, so it clips to a pack or kayak without getting in the way. A detachable lanyard comes with it, which suits wading small streams for trout and handling fish for release.

Best for

  • Fly fishing for trout in streams
  • Wade fishing and shoreline work
