Quick take

Tough jig-and-pig style craw trailers made from durable material that resists tearing and won't dry out or shrivel.

This 3-inch craw trailer comes in black blue flake and is sold in a five-bait pack. Its flexible synthetic body is scented and UV enhanced, and it is made in the USA. It suits anglers who fish a jig and want a pork-style trailer.

Best for

  • Jig fishing in heavy cover
  • Trailers that last through multiple fish
  • Bass fishing with flipping and pitching

Skip if

  • You fish soft plastics exclusively without trailers
  • You want traditional pork trailers

Strengths

  • 40X stronger than traditional soft baits reduces replacement need
  • UV enhancement and scent attract fish to the trailer
  • Material doesn't dry out if left on the hook between sessions

Trade-offs

  • Stiffer material reduces natural action compared to soft plastic
  • Scent fades over time with sun exposure
  • Five-pack is minimal; heavy anglers will need more
