Quick take
A 7 ft medium-heavy casting rod with IM24T carbon blank and fast action that loads up for accurate casts and solid hook sets.
The White Bird is a one-piece 7-foot casting rod with a medium-heavy power and fast action. Its carbon blank, SiC guides and cork split grip suit bass anglers working jigs, spinnerbaits and other mid-weight lures. It handles 12 to 20 pound line, which fits general-purpose casting around cover.
Best for
- Bass and pike fishing with heavier lures and crankbaits
- Anglers who need longer casts from structure-laden banks
- Strong hook sets in thick vegetation
Skip if
- You fish light lures or micro baits
- You prefer finesse and sensitivity over power
Strengths
- IM24T carbon delivers a good balance of lightness and power
- Fast action taper provides accurate, controllable casting
- Medium-heavy power handles topwater baits and heavy crankbaits
- Cork handle is classic and durable
Trade-offs
