Quick take
Half-finger fishing gloves with UPF 50+ sun protection and non-slip palms for rod and reel control.
This half-finger fishing glove leaves the fingertips open so you can still tie knots and swap lures. A synthetic leather palm helps hold the rod and reel when your hands are wet. The UPF 50+ fabric shields the backs of your hands from the sun, which suits long days on a boat or bank.
Best for
- Long days on the water in strong sun
- Anglers who need precise hand control for knot tying
- Saltwater and tropical fishing
Skip if
- You fish mostly in shade or overcast days
- You prefer full-finger coverage for warmth
Strengths
- UPF 50+ blocks harmful UV without messy sunscreen
- Exposed fingertips allow dexterity for fine tasks
- Non-slip synthetic palm improves grip on wet rods
Trade-offs
- Half-finger design leaves fingertips exposed to sun
- Cotton blend retains moisture slower than pure synthetics
- Fit is body-contoured, not adjustable once sized

- Water
- Freshwater
- Saltwater
