Quick take
A three-pack of non-perishable artificial bloodworm strips that remain effective through many casts or fish.
This is a red, bloodworm-style bait made as a mesh-bound strip pack, with 3 strips in the package. Each strip can be cut into small pieces, so one pack covers many casts, and it keeps in a tackle box between trips without special storage. Anglers pair it with a size 4 to 6 hook so the bait stays put, which suits saltwater fishing from shore or boat.
Best for
- Saltwater bottom fishing for striped bass
- Extended fishing trips without cooler
- Panfish and bream in freshwater
Skip if
- You prefer live baitfish
- You fish only in calm conditions
Strengths
- Non-perishable; no cooler or special storage needed
- One strip yields many cut pieces for baiting
- Stays on hook through casting and fish strikes
Trade-offs
- Artificial material is less enticing than live bait
- Requires cutting into pieces between uses
- May not match hatch in heavily-fished areas
