Fishernomics Heavy Surf Crab Trap, Lead-Free, Bloom Tank

A handcrafted lead-free crab trap with tight mesh to catch and hold crabs from shore.

This castable crab snare from Fishernomics lets you crab from a beach, jetty or pier with a regular fishing pole instead of a boat. The Bloom Tank version has a blue body with a luminous lid, curved steel weights that are lead-free, and a galvanized steel mesh cage with half-inch openings that helps hold bait in place. It is a small, light package at about 0.22 kg, aimed at anglers who want to reel in crab as well as fish.
