Quick take
Tungsten nail weights with sharp tips for neko rig, wacky rig and finesse worm presentations.
This is a pack of 12 silver bullet-shaped nail weights made of tungsten, each 1/16 oz. A nail weight pushes into the head or body of a soft plastic bait, which makes it a fit for neko rigs, wacky rigs and Texas rigs. Tungsten is dense, so the weight stays compact inside the bait, a good match for bass anglers rigging worms and creature baits.
Best for
- Neko rig finesse setups with worms
- Wacky rig presentations in clear water
- Bass fishing with soft plastic worms
Skip if
- Presentations not using soft plastic baits
- Topwater or spinner techniques
Strengths
- 97% tungsten density allows half the size of lead for same weight
- Sharp tip easily penetrates soft plastics; ribs hold secure
- Multiple sizes support varied depth and casting needs
Trade-offs
- Tips can become dull with repeated use on hard plastics
- Require compatible soft plastic baits for use
