Quick take
Bucktail teasers with Mylar flash that slide above flounder and striped bass rigs to attract fish.
This pack holds 18 bucktail teasers in a mix of three colors, each about 4.13 inches long. The mylar flash tails thread onto your line just above the hook, which suits flounder rigs and other saltwater setups. Having several colors on hand lets you swap to match the water clarity.
Best for
- Trolling and drifting flounder rigs
- Adding attraction to live bait or dead shrimp rigs
- Saltwater bottom fishing with visibility-limited conditions
Skip if
- You fish freshwater
- You troll open-water pelagics
Strengths
- Bucktail hair and flash attract fish from distance
- Slide-on design works with most rigging styles
- Three mixed colors match different water clarity
Trade-offs
- Work only when dragged or drifted
- The rigging eye can snag on bottom structure
- Best used with bait rather than alone

About this type
A lure is an artificial bait that draws a strike with its shape, color and movement.
Each kind is built for certain depths and ways of fishing.
Weight decides how far a lure casts and what rod and line it needs; color changes how visible it is in the water.
