Quick take

Two portable bite alarms with loud sound and bright LED for night fishing and unattended rods.

This two-pack of clip-on bite alarms from FISHNU pairs a loud buzzer with a bright LED, so a strike is easy to notice after dark or from a distance. Each compact ABS unit clips to the rod, with the line hung around its rotor, and runs on three LR44 button cells. It suits bank anglers who watch rods set out while night fishing on lakes and rivers.

  • Night fishing without constant attention
  • Long-distance casting rigs
  • Anglers with hearing loss

Skip if

  • You fish shallow water constantly
  • You watch your rod visually

Strengths

  • Loud sound and bright LED alert at distance
  • Sensitive spring reduces false alarms from current
  • Compact design clips securely to any rod
