Quick take
An 11 lb magnetic net release that extends from 12 to 96 inches to keep your fly net within arm's reach.
This magnetic net release holds a fly fishing net on the angler's back or pack and lets it come free with a quick pull. A foot-long coil extends to about 96 inches, and a rubber strap attaches to the top or bottom of the net. It is built around Nomad nets but fits other fly nets, and the aluminum magnets weigh only a fraction of a pound.
Best for
- Fly fishing from banks or wading
- Anglers who fish hands-free or one-handed
Skip if
- You use non-ferrous nets
- You prefer net leashes over magnetic releases
Strengths

- Coiled lanyard extends for reach and retracts for storage
- Works with any fly net, not just Fishpond brands
