Quick take
A 25-pack of high-carbon-steel circle hooks in sizes #4 to 7/0 with a non-offset 90-degree point for corner-mouth hook sets.
This 2/0 circle hook has a rolled-in point and a 90 degree bend that turns it back toward the shank, made for anglers who fish live or cut bait for catfish and other strong fish. With a circle hook, the angler gives the fish slack and lets it run with the bait instead of striking, and the hook slides toward the corner of the mouth. Sold in a pack of 25 carbon steel hooks, it suits both saltwater and freshwater rigs.
Best for
- Live bait fishing with minimal hook sets needed
- Catch-and-release applications
- Catfish, striper, and bottom-feeding species
Skip if
- You prefer traditional J-hooks
- You fish artificial lures exclusively
Strengths
- Non-offset point hooks automatically in the jaw corner when the fish takes the bait
- High-carbon steel resists bending under heavy load from large fish
- Circle hook design reduces deep-throat injuries for better survival rates
Trade-offs
- Requires less aggressive hook setting, which takes learning
- Not ideal for soft-plastic presentations
- Non-offset design may miss strikes on certain retrieves
