Quick take
A 100-piece assortment of offset octopus hooks sized #10 to 9/0 for live bait and bottom fishing.
This is a 100-piece pack of black size 2/0 octopus hooks in high carbon steel, with an offset point. Octopus hooks suit live bait and a range of rigs, and the 2/0 size fits catfish, bass, trout and walleye work in fresh or salt water. A bulk pack keeps a tackle box stocked for anglers who rig often.
Best for
- Live shiner and crawfish rigging
- Catfish and grouper bottom rigs
- Saltwater and freshwater versatility
Skip if
- You practice catch-and-release; circle hooks damage less
- You fish soft plastics; use worm or wacky hooks
Strengths
- Offset point penetrates quickly and hooks the mouth edge
- Wide hook point spacing and flat reinforced body handle large fish
- 19 size range covers everything from panfish to tuna
