Quick take
A 15 foot stringer with tangle-free rubber cord, brass end connections, and an EVA float for holding and transporting caught fish.
This lime green stringer pairs a 15-foot smooth rubber cord with an EVA float, so a catch stays near the surface where it is easy to find. Brass fittings on both ends let you remove fish from either side, and a quick-release on the cork end speeds up culling. It suits bank, wade and boat anglers who keep a few fish on the line while they keep casting.
Best for
- Boat and shore fishing where fish need to be kept fresh and alive
- Quick culling and organization of multiple fish during the day
- Anglers targeting species that must remain in water
Skip if
- You fish catch-and-release waters
- You plan to keep fish at a cooler or live well
Strengths
- Smooth rubber cord resists tangling and kinking unlike woven stringers
- Brass connections at both ends allow fish removal from either end without sliding
- Quick-release cork end simplifies removing a single fish mid-trip
Trade-offs
- 15 foot length requires adequate water depth; difficult in shallow water
- Rubber material can degrade in direct sunlight over years of storage
- EVA float adds weight and bulk for transport
Fishing fit
- Water
- Freshwater
- Saltwater
