Quick take
A large rectangular landing net with hexagonal hoop profile and weighted netting for quick submersion, 48-inch sliding handle.
The Frabill Power Catch 8415 is a large landing net with a hexagonal 32 by 41 inch hoop and a 38 inch net depth. Its 48 inch handle slides through the Pow'R Lok yoke for easier storage, and the weighted netting sinks quickly. It suits anglers who need room to land bigger fish from a boat or shore.
Best for
- Netting large freshwater fish from boat or shore
- Anglers needing spacious net for walleye, catfish and pike
- Frequent use where durability and quick handling matter
Skip if
- You need a compact or portable net
- You fish from kayak or wade frequently
Strengths
- Hexagonal hoop profile reduces drag compared to round nets
- Weighted netting drops into water quickly
- Stainless steel hardware resists corrosion
Trade-offs
- Large hoop and handle make transport and storage difficult
- Rectangular shape is less versatile than round nets
- Heavier construction than collapsible alternatives
