Quick take
Foam-padded snap-on lid converts any 5-6 gallon bucket into a portable fishing seat.
The Frabill Strato Seat turns a 5 or 6 gallon bucket into a padded seat for ice fishing, shore days or the deer stand. Its kidney shape lets you reach into the bucket without getting up or taking the lid off. A foam cushion tops it, and it snaps on and off in seconds.
Best for
- Shore fishing where carrying a chair is inconvenient
- Boat deck seating that doubles as storage
- Anglers who already own 5-6 gallon buckets
Skip if
- You need adjustable height or back support; this is a basic bucket seat
Strengths
- Converts any standard bucket into a comfortable seat
- Lid remains functional; storage access without removing seat
- Lightweight and portable
Trade-offs
- Foam padding less cushioned than dedicated fishing seats
- Limited height adjustment; depends on bucket size
- Not suitable for all-day comfort on hard grounds
