Quick take

A rubber pulley-ring lure keeper that folds to prevent line tangles when your rod is at rest.

The Fuji Kogyo EHKM is a lure hook keeper with a metallic blue body and pulley, built around a large rubber ring. It is made for rod diameters of about 0.4 to 0.6 inches (9 to 16 mm). Fold it over between casts to park the hook and keep the lure from tangling in the guides, then flip it back out of the way when you start fishing.

Best for

  • Preventing rod tip tangles
  • Boat and shore fishing
  • Multi-rod setups

Skip if

  • Your rod diameter is smaller than 0.4 in

Strengths

  • Folds away when not in use
  • Pulley ring allows smooth lure movement
  • Light click sound keeps rings secure

Trade-offs

  • Fits only rods within the 0.4 to 0.6 in diameter range
  • Rubber can wear or tear with heavy use
