Quick take
A waterproof floating digital scale with a 9-inch gripper and carry case.
This handheld digital fish scale from FULGATI weighs up to 110 pounds and switches between pounds, ounces and kilograms. It floats if dropped overboard, stores up to eight weights and adds them into a running total, which suits keeping track of a day's catch. A 9-inch lip gripper with wrist tethers lets you hold a fish with one hand while you weigh it, and a zippered carry case keeps the scale and gripper together.
Best for
- Recording and totaling multiple fish weights
- Catch-and-release fishing with minimal fish contact
- Boating and shore fishing
Skip if
- You keep fish and don't weigh for records
- You want a mechanical scale that never needs batteries
Strengths
- Waterproof and floating design survives accidental water drops
- Memory and summation features help track daily catch numbers
- Included 9-inch gripper eliminates hand contact with gills
Trade-offs
- 110 lb limit doesn't cover very large saltwater species

- Freshwater
- Saltwater
