Quick take
Size 2/0 extra wide gap trebles designed for professional hook-up rates and holding power.
This Gamakatsu Extra Wide Gap treble has a spear point and high-carbon steel construction in a bronze finish. Its wide gap between point and shank is meant to hold fish that bite lightly, and it is a common swap-in for jerkbaits and crankbaits. It suits anglers who want a bronze treble for hardbait work.
Best for
- Topwater lures and surface baits
- Crankbaits and hard baits
- Saltwater and freshwater applications
Skip if
- You need smaller trebles for finesse presentations
- You fish heavy weed cover where larger gaps snag
Strengths
- Extra wide gap increases hook-up probability on strikes
- Professional-grade tempering ensures consistent sharpness and durability
- High-carbon steel provides superior strength for large gamefish
