Quick take
Professional-grade foam fly box with slit-foam technology that grips fly hooks securely without damaging tying.
The Gamakatsu G-Box 3600 is a compact slit-foam case for keeping hooks, flies, jig heads and small rigs sorted. A polycarbonate shell with latches holds a foam insert whose slits grip each hook so it stays put. At roughly 11 by 8 inches and about 7 ounces, it slips into a tackle bag or jacket pocket.
Best for
- Saltwater fly patterns and large streamers

- Keeping flies organized and tangle-free
Skip if
- You carry small dry flies only
- You prefer transparent cases
Strengths
- Slit-foam design holds hooks securely without tearing fibers
- Designed to hold large saltwater and streamer patterns
