Quick take
Size 6 bronze offset circle hooks that hook fish in the corner of the mouth and reduce mortality.
This is a pack of 25 Gamakatsu Octopus circle hooks in size 8 with an offset point and a black NS finish. The circle shape is meant to catch in the corner of a fish's mouth, which suits anglers who want to let a fish take the bait and hook itself. A small size like this fits salmon-style bait rigs and lighter live or cut bait setups, and the hooks are made in the U.S.A.
Best for
- Live bait fishing under a float
- Worm fishing for panfish and small bass
- Catch-and-release angling
Skip if
- You fish with soft plastics; use worm hooks instead
- You keep every fish; offset point penetrates deeply
Strengths
