Quick take
A size 2/0 wacky hook with a hand-tied weed guard that helps avoid snags on thick cover.
The Gamakatsu Wicked Wacky hook in 2/0 is made for wacky rigging, with a hand-tied weed guard for protection in snaggy cover. A hollow tube runs along the shank so the tag end of the line can be threaded back through after the knot, which suits drop-shot setups. Built on the Shiner frame, it is a practical pick for anglers working heavy cover for bass.
Best for
- Rigging soft plastic worms wacky-style on light cover
- Finesse presentations in shallow weeds and brush
- Bass fishing when weed contact is unavoidable
Skip if
