Quick take
Garrett Outdoors round jig heads come in a 1/32 oz weight paired with a #4 Eagle Claw gold sickle hook, and each pack holds 100 heads. The heads are made of stainless steel and have a curved point, which suits light, small jigs for finesse presentations. They work well for anglers who tie or pour their own jigs or want a steady supply of small round heads.
Best for
- Panfish and crappie in shallow water
- Finesse presentations on light line
- Anglers buying jig heads in bulk
Skip if
- You fish heavy cover or deep structure
- You need 1/8 oz or heavier heads
Strengths
- Sickle hook design is proven for small soft plastics
- Gold finish is visible in clear water to panfish
Trade-offs
- 1/32 oz is too light for any wind or current
- Fixed sickle hook is not as versatile as J-hook or other styles
- Bulk pack offers no size variation within a single purchase
