Quick take
A heavy-duty tournament weigh-in bag made of durable two-layer polyethylene, designed to hold fish without ripping.
This is a black tournament-style weigh-in bag for carrying a catch to the scales. It is built from two layers of polyethylene around a polyester mesh core, with two nylon carry handles, and measures about 22 by 22 inches. Anglers fishing bass events or weighing fish at the ramp will find the roomy, simple bag easy to handle.
Best for
- Tournament weigh-ins where rips mean disqualification
- Transporting kept fish from water to home
- Anglers who want a tough bag that resists puncture from fins
Skip if
- You need a breathable bag for live bait holding
- You fish casually and don't weigh many fish
Strengths
- Two-layer polyethylene with mesh reinforcement is much tougher than imported PVC bags
- Tough material resists fin pokes and punctures that destroy thinner bags
- Zipped closure keeps fish secure during transport
Trade-offs
- The bag is heavy before adding fish
- No vents or aerators; not suitable for holding live fish for extended periods
- Large 22-inch dimensions make it bulky to store
