Quick take
Lightweight aluminum power handle with round knob for Shimano reels, reduces weight and improves comfort.
This is an aluminum replacement power handle for Shimano spinning reels that use a square shaft, such as the Sedona FI, Sahara FI and Catana RC. It measures 2.24 inches (57mm) long with a 1.38 inch (35mm) round knob and weighs 1.55 ounces. Anglers who want a larger grip than the stock handle can swap it in with a screw-on fit. It is not meant for hexagon-shaft reels, so check your reel's shaft first.
Best for
- Replacing stock handles on compatible Shimano reels
- Anglers who fish long sessions and want ergonomic improvements
- Anyone looking to reduce overall reel weight
Skip if
- Your reel has hexagon shaft; this fits square shafts only
- Your reel model is not listed in compatibility
Strengths
- Lightweight aluminum reduces fatigue on long fishing days
- Round knob provides comfortable grip through multiple hand sizes
- Japanese NMB bearings enable smooth, buttery rotation
Trade-offs
- Fits only specific Shimano reel models with square shaft
- Aluminum surface may scratch or show wear with heavy use
- Installation requires removing old handle; check compatibility first
